Demolitions Continue in VA Hospital Footprint

Man, they're moving fast.

The contributing historic building that housed Platinum 3000 at 2201 Banks was demolished today.

The brick house at 2327 Banks (the one where Ms. Bettye once interacted with police), as well as its recently inhabited outbuilding, have been demolished.  I know the house is significant in the family history of a number of people who read the blog, and I regret its unnecessary loss.

The mechanic shop at Cleveland and S. Miro - next to the S.W. Green Mansion - bit the dust today.  The building was owned by Pincus Friedman and was later expropriated by the state.

The desolation grows.
